Welcome to The Hong Kong Society of Minimal Access Surgery
We are delighted to have you here! The Hong Kong Society of Minimal Access Surgery is dedicated to promoting the advancement of minimally invasive surgical techniques. Our mission is to develop and assist the medical profession in the application of minimal access surgery and stimulate public interest through education and collaboration among healthcare professionals.
We organized several clinical meetings every year, in addition to our annual scientific meetings. We are also the founding members of the ELSA Society. The committees, previous presidents, and governors of the ELSA Society include a number of our former presidents and council members. The Asia-Pacific ELSA Congress was successfully held in Hong Kong in both 2005 and 2021. Because of this strong bond, our organization and its members actively participate the ELSA Congress annually.
