LAPAROSCOPIC REPAIR OF MINOR COMMON BILE DUCT INJURY

Minor bile duct injury like avulsion of cystic duct and small tear of common bile duct (less than half of the circumference) is no longer an absolute indication for open conversion. The precise assessment of the injury and the capability of intra-corporeal suturing are the two pre-requisites for laparoscopic repair.
